Bolla
Sangiovese Di Romangna Doc 2007

A Sangiovese from the Romagna region in northern-central Italy, hence the 'di Romagna' appellation. It is classed as Piccolo, meaning that the vines bear small, tightly bunched grapes. The wine was fermented at controlled temperatures, put through malolactic and aged on lees to add complexity. It is a youthful ruby wine offering aromas of violet, morello cherry, plum and spice. The palate is well balanced, with berryfruit flavours enhanced by a smooth texture.
