Great name for a wine, Crusher Road, like something out of a Springsteen song, you know, ‘Mary left her tears trailing in the dust/Eddie was the only boy she could trust/nowhere to hide nowhere to go/they hit the curves on the Crusher Road.' Um. An under-priced, over-delivering Pinot Gris of some girth and weight, dripping with honeysuckle-tamed fruit and awash in varietal richness. At this price, nab a case; have some on hand at all times. As The Boss will tell you, you never know what's just around the corner.
