Gin

Distilled from neutral grain spirit, it's the juniper berries that give gin its distinctive taste. London Dry is now the generic name for most quality gins, and the premium innovative brands have taken to adding botanicals to the mix. Aniseed, coriander, nutmeg, it means gin is more versatile and exciting than it was when they used to drink tonnes of it in London's Gin Lane in the 18th century.
